HTC has finally wraps off One A9. It’s a mid-range smartphone that comes with a metallic unibody design. Priced at $399 (approximately Rs 26,000). HTC has also integrated a fingerprint scanner just below the screen.
HTC One A9 specifications and features: One A9 flaunts a 5-inch full HD (1080p) display and its covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 to keep scratches at bay. It runs on Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 617 octa-core SoC paired with 2GB of RAM for 16GB storage variant and 3GB of RAM for 32GB storage variant. There is also a microSD card slot for further expansion up to 2TB.
On the Camera department, the One A9 is comes with a 13-mp rear camera with a BSI sensor, phase detection auto-focus, true-tone LED flash and optical image stabilization. The camera also offers supports for RAW photos. There is also a built-in hyperlapse mode to capture long time-lapse videos. In front, HTC has fitted its 4-Ultrapixel snapper for video calls and selfies.
A Medium 2,150mAh battery and Quick Charge 3.0 feature, which will be available via a software update. Connectivity options such as 4G support, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth and GPS are present. Like HTC mentioned earlier this month, the One A9 is the company’s first smartphone to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. As usual, it is wrapped under Sense UI 6.The smartphone also comes with Dolby Audio with Hi-Fi Audio, which HTC claims to offer unmatched audio experience. It will be available in carbon gray, opal silver, topaz gold and deep garnet color options.
HTC is offering developers to unlock the bootloader, without losing warranty. That’s not all; HTC promises to offer latest software updates within 15 days, after Google releases the new software for Nexus Smartphones. Isn’t great Thing ?
